Account & Data Deletion
Two ways to permanently delete your TraceLogic Pro account and all your data.
Option 1 — Delete in the iOS app (recommended)
- Open TraceLogic Pro on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the Account tab at the bottom right.
- Scroll to the Delete Account button.
- Confirm twice. The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Email request
Email privacy@tracelogicpro.co.uk from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Account deletion request". We will action it within one UK working day and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
When you confirm deletion, the following are removed permanently and cannot be recovered:
- Your account profile and authentication record
- All OTDR trace files (.sor) you uploaded
- All projects, cables, fibres, and BiDi analysis results you created
- All documents you uploaded
- All diagnostic sessions and learning progress
Any active paid subscription is cancelled at the same time. Stripe retains anonymised transaction records for tax and accounting purposes (we do not control this — it is required by law); these records contain no personally identifying information about your TraceLogic account after deletion.
Aggregated, anonymised analytics (e.g. crash counts, feature-usage totals) may be retained but contain no information that can identify you individually.
Timeframe
In-app deletions are immediate — your account is unusable from the moment you confirm. Email-requested deletions are actioned within one UK working day.
